The Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana is Madhya Pradesh's top-up on PM Kisan. Farmers often search for it as "MP CM Kisan Samman Nidhi" or "CM Kisan Kalyan". It was launched in September 2020 (Drishti IAS, August 2025) and is paid by DBT to farmers who are registered under PM Kisan.

How much MP pays: ₹4,000 then ₹6,000
The amount changed once, and this causes most of the confusion online.
- From 2020 (older rule): ₹4,000 a year in 2 instalments.
- From August 2023: the MP cabinet raised it to ₹6,000 a year, giving ₹12,000 a year together with PM Kisan (Utkarsh, August 2023). It is now paid as 3 x ₹2,000 (Drishti IAS, 2025).
Some websites in 2026 still say "₹4,000 + PM Kisan = ₹10,000". That is the old rule and is out of date. The July 2026 release, which paid two instalments as ₹4,000, matches the current ₹2,000 per kist pattern.

Why ₹4,000 came on 27 July 2026
On 27 July 2026, at the Balram Krishi Mahotsav in Khandwa, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav transferred ₹3,308 crore to 82.70 lakh farmers. Each farmer got ₹4,000. As reported by India.com and NewKerala (July 2026), this was two instalments paid together:
- the 3rd instalment of financial year 2025-26, and
- the 1st instalment of financial year 2026-27.
The MP Agriculture Department also posted on X about "82 लाख से अधिक किसानों" and ₹3,300 crore. Before that, the 2nd instalment of 2025-26 was released on 14 August 2025 (Drishti IAS).
Many searches ask about the "14th kist" or another running number. The reports we rely on count MP payments by financial year, not as one running total, so we cannot confirm a running number for the July 2026 payment. Go by the date and the amount in your passbook.

Who is eligible and who is left out
As reported by Drishti IAS (August 2025), a farmer needs all of these:
- registration under PM Kisan, with eKYC done;
- permanent residence in Madhya Pradesh;
- arable (farming) land.
These people are excluded:
- income tax payers;
- elected representatives;
- government employees.
Because PM Kisan registration is required, the PM Kisan rules also matter. Read who is eligible for PM Kisan. MP is also among the states where new PM Kisan applicants need a Farmer ID since 1 January 2025 (GKToday, January 2025). Steps to see if your MP kist has come
- Bank passbook first. Update your passbook or read your SMS after a release date such as 27 July 2026. The state ₹2,000 or ₹4,000 comes separately from the PM Kisan ₹2,000.
- Check PM Kisan status. On the official PM Kisan portal (pmkisan.gov.in), use "Know Your Status" with your registration number, captcha and OTP. See our status guide.
- Read the three Yes/No fields. Land seeding, Aadhaar bank seeding and eKYC must all be Yes. eKYC is a condition of the MP scheme too, so if it says No, finish it using our eKYC guide.
- Check DBT on your bank account. Money goes to the Aadhaar-seeded account. If seeding shows No, ask your bank to seed Aadhaar and enable DBT; see Aadhaar bank seeding.
- Ask locally. If PM Kisan is fine but the state money is missing, visit your tehsil or agriculture office with your passbook.
SAARA portal and the "MP Kisan App"
Madhya Pradesh uses SAARA (Smart Application for Revenue Administration, by MPSeDC), which the National e-Governance Division lists as a system that creates beneficiaries for government schemes. The address widely reported for it is saara.mp.gov.in; confirm it through the state agriculture department before entering details. We could not confirm a direct page there for Kisan Kalyan payment status.
Many people also search for an "MP Kisan App". We could not verify an official app by that name for this scheme. Do not install apps from links sent on WhatsApp or SMS. The PM Kisan app is covered on our PM Kisan app page.
MP CM Kisan samman nidhi kab aayegi?
The next payment would be the 2nd instalment of 2026-27. As of 16 October 2026, no date had been found for it. The state has not followed a fixed calendar: it paid on 14 August 2025 and then paid two instalments together on 27 July 2026. So we will not guess a date. Watch for an announcement from the MP government or your agriculture office, and check your passbook.

Avoid fraud
Use only official .gov.in addresses and government offices. No one can "speed up" your kist for a fee. Never share an OTP or your bank details on a call. This site will never ask for your Aadhaar, registration number, bank details or OTP.

The next payment is the 2nd instalment of 2026-27. As of 16 October 2026 no date had been announced. The last release was on 27 July 2026 in Khandwa, when farmers got ₹4,000 each for two instalments. Watch for an MP government announcement and check your passbook, and ignore websites that give dates without a source.
How much money is given under Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana?

How do I check CM Kisan beneficiary status in MP with Aadhaar card?
Start with your bank passbook. Then use Know Your Status on the official PM Kisan portal (pmkisan.gov.in); if you do not know your registration number, use "Know Your Registration No." with mobile or Aadhaar and OTP. We could not confirm a separate official MP status page, so ask your agriculture office if the state money is missing.
Who is not eligible for MP Kisan Kalyan Yojana?
As reported by Drishti IAS (August 2025), income tax payers, elected representatives and government employees are excluded. You also need PM Kisan registration with eKYC, permanent MP residence and farming land. If you are excluded from PM Kisan, you will not get the state amount either.
Is there an official MP Kisan App for this scheme?
We could not verify an official app called MP Kisan App for the Kisan Kalyan Yojana. Do not download apps from links sent on WhatsApp or SMS, and never enter your OTP or bank details in an unknown app. For PM Kisan, use the official PM Kisan app.
