Fact-Checking Policy

Sources we use

• Official portals such as pmkisan.gov.in, fasalrin.gov.in, agristack.gov.in and state agriculture department sites.
• Press Information Bureau releases, RBI circulars and master directions, and answers given in Parliament.
• Reputable news reports, labelled as reported news, never as official rules.

How we write

• Every amount, date, limit and helpline must come from a source we have checked.
• We never predict installment dates. If a date is not officially announced, we say so.
• When official sources disagree (for example on a loan limit), we show both with dates.
• Portal menus change, so steps describe what to look for rather than promise exact buttons.
• Each guide shows when it was last checked and lists its sources.

Corrections
